Born in Buenos Aires, May 18th 1993, Delfina Velar de Irigoyen completed her degree in Interior Design in ABM, after studying Architecture in FADU UBA for a couple of years. She started her practice as a self-taught artist, creating mini paintings and fusioning them with beads. While investigating in the fashion making and pattern cutting, she studied drawing and painting with Agustina Piacentini for a year, and continued with Marcela Davidson. In 2018 she participated in a Summer Study in Constructed Environments Course in
Parsons, The New School for Design in New York. She then graduated from a Master’s Degree IED Barcelona, in Innovation, Strategies and Entrepreneurship, with a TFM based on a 3D printing project called Printdustry, team built with 4 engineers from Buenos Aires. Once settled back in Argentina, she was part of a small group critiques with Leila Tschopp and Laura Batkis. Delfina is currently working her practice with Cynthia Kampelmacher, and is now part of the MA Fine Art Digital in Central Saint Martins, University of Arts London, 22/23.
